THE WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS

Once you have confirmed that you would like to proceed with the creation of an author website, our designer will contact you to discuss the project. Our designer will supply an initial Home Page design to you for comment and design approval. Suggestions and ideas are always welcome to help us ascertain what you are looking for. Once the general design has been agreed, the content of additional pages is prepared as agreed. Once you have approved the completed website, it will be linked to your domain name/s, made live and submitted to search engines. The process of website creation usually takes from one to three weeks or so. When you wish something to be added to the website (perhaps you have a piece of news, a review etc.), simply email it to us and we will update your site, usually within 24 hours. The website maintenance service does not include things like changing the site’s design, or adding new pages or facilities once the initial design process has been completed. This sort of change can be made but an additional fee would be charged, as agreed at the time. After the aftercare period is finished we can either continue to maintain your author website with all the care you received before for an annual fee, or we can transfer control of your website over to you, so you can manage it yourself. If you choose that option, you will be responsible for the hosting of your website. If neither of these options are chosen, your website can be closed.
